JS composite waterproof coating is a new type of waterproof coating recommended by the Ministry of Construction. It is a two-component waterproof coating composed of organic liquid and inorganic powder. It has the advantages of high elasticity of organic materials and good durability of inorganic materials. new waterproof material. After coating, a highly elastic and high-strength waterproof coating can be formed, and colored coatings can be configured as needed.
Features:
1,Can be constructed on wet or dry substrates of various materials;
2,The coating is tough and strong, has good water resistance, good weather resistance and excellent durability;
3,Pigments can be added to form colored coatings;
4,Non-toxic, odorless, pollution-free, safe and simple construction, short construction period;
5,Construction on the inside, painted surface and top surface does not run;
6,Can be firmly bonded to various outer materials such as base surface and cement mortar;
7,High temperature resistance up to 140ºC.
Purpose:
It can be used for waterproofing projects of various new and old architectural structures (for example: house roofs, underground exterior walls, toilets and bathrooms, tunnels, bridges, pools, etc.)
Main technical indicators (JC/T894-2013)
No. Item Indicator (I) Indicator (II)
1 Tensile strength (MPa) ≥ 1.2 1.8
2 Elongation (%) ≥ 200 80
3 Water impermeability 30min 0.3PMa 0.3PMa
4 Low temperature flexibility ºC -10
5 Heat resistance ºC 100 100
Instructions:
1. The base surface must be flat, firm, clean, free of open water and leakage. The uneven areas must be plugged first, and the yin and yang corners should be made into arc corners.
2. Take the materials according to the specified proportion. If you need to add water, add it to the liquid material first, and add it while stirring with a stirrer. Stir thoroughly until there are no lumps in the ingredients (mixing time is more than 3 minutes, it is best not to stir by hand).
3. The weight ratio of the base paint: liquid: powder: water = (I) 10:7:10, (II) 10:12:10. The weight ratio of the lower, middle and upper layers of paint is liquid. : Powder: water = (I) 10:7:0-1, (II) 10:12:0-2, pigment can be added to the upper coating to form a colored layer. Within the specified water adding range, no or less water should be added for construction on the top surface of the slope or inside, and more should be added for flat construction.
4. The construction of the protective layer or decorative layer must be carried out 2 days after the waterproof layer is completed. When applying mortar, in order to facilitate construction, clean medium-coarse sand can be sprinkled immediately after the last coat of waterproof layer. Liquid material: Powder material = 10:20-30 to make it into a putty shape, it can also be used as a bonding and sealing material.
Precautions:
1. If the paint (especially the primer) has sedimentation, stir it evenly at any time.
2. The coating should be as uniform as possible without any local deposition, and it is required to roll and brush several times to ensure that there are no bubbles between the coating and the base layer, and the bonding is tight.
3. Each layer of coating must be taken according to the specified amount. It cannot be too thick or too thin. If the thickness of the final waterproof layer is not enough, one or more layers can be added. The total number of coatings should not be less than 3 layers.
4. The time interval between each layer shall be based on the time when the previous layer of coating is dry and non-sticky (generally it takes 3-6 hours, if the site temperature is low, the humidity is high, the ventilation is poor, the drying time will be longer, otherwise it will be shorter).
5. It cannot be constructed below 0ºC or in the rain. It is not suitable to be constructed in a particularly humid and non-ventilated environment, as it will affect the film formation.
Storage and transportation
1. Protect from the sun and rain, and keep the packaging intact.
2. Liquid materials need to be stored in a cool place above 5ºC, and powder materials need to be stored in a dry place. The shelf life is 6 months.
